Zara facilitates conversations that uncover the variety of positions and perspectives held within one person, between people, and within groups.

I guide the communication process, inviting every voice into the dialogue. More information is shared when everyone has the opportunity to speak, listen, and be heard. This generates understanding and new paths become visible.

Individuals - Couples - Groups

Individual Work:

Let’s talk together about a crossroads or stuck place in your personal relationships, professional life, growth and development, or your relationship with yourself.

You may relate to experiences like these:

  • I can't stop replaying what happened.
  • I don't know what I actually want anymore
  • I keep abandoning myself in order to keep the peace.
  • I'm grieving something I can't explain.
  • I'm stuck between who I've been and who I'm becoming.
  • I need to have an important conversation, but I don't know how to begin.
  • I can't hear myself beneath everyone else's voices.

Exploring the complexity of a situation with support can loosen what feels stuck, reveal what’s been overlooked, and make the next step easier to recognize.

Couples:

Sometimes it helps to invite a neutral third party into a conversation with a business partner, friend, family member, or romantic partner.

You may be asking:

  • Why do we keep having the same argument?
  • Why do we both feel misunderstood?
  • Why does one of us pursue while the other pulls away?
  • Why do small disagreements become enormous?
  • Where do we go from here?
  • If it can't be repaired, how do we end it with honesty and care?

When both people have the opportunity to speak honestly and feel genuinely understood, new possibilities often come into focus. Whether the path leads toward repair, clearer boundaries, or parting ways, greater understanding can help shape what comes next.

    Group Work:

If your community group, organization, or team feels stuck, a facilitator can help uncover more possibilities and move the conversation forward.

    • You may recognize questions like these:
    • Why are we having the same conversation over and over?
    • Why can't we make a decision?
    • Why do a few voices dominate while others stay silent?
    • Is there something everyone knows but no one is saying?
    • Are we arguing about personalities instead of the real issue?
    • We care about the same mission, so why are we pulling in different directions?

Every group already contains the knowledge, experience, and creativity needed to move forward. My role is to help create the conditions where those resources can be recognized, shared, and put to work.

      How I Work

“Wholeness is not achieved by cutting off a portion of one's being, but by integration of the contraries."  -Carl Jung

      Parts Work
Parts Work is the primary approach I use in individual sessions. It is a method used to explore the different—and often conflicting—parts of yourself. Parts Work is both imaginative and practical, inviting curiosity and a willingness to experiment with seeing yourself in a new way. This method often results in greater self-awareness and compassion, cultivating more space within and room for insights to emerge.

      Facilitation
Facilitation is a guided process for helping individuals, couples, and groups explore ideas, deepen understanding, strengthen relationships, make decisions, and navigate complexity. It supports thoughtful communication and meaningful participation without requiring a predetermined outcome. Facilitation can support personal exploration, important conversations, planning, collaboration, learning, and organizational development.

      Mediation
Mediation is a structured form of facilitation used when people need to resolve a specific conflict or reach agreement about decisions, responsibilities, or terms. It helps identify underlying needs, explore where people disagree, and work toward mutual understanding and workable agreements. Mediation can support family members, business partners, neighbors, co-workers, organizations, or anyone who needs help resolving a shared issue.

“If you can feel into both sides and articulate them, growing together happens. The solution to war is not peace but growing together.” - Arnold Mindell, The Deep Democracy of Open Forums
